Xenical (Orlistat 120mg) is a prescription drug used in the treatment of obesity. The medication is used together with a doctor approved exercise and reduced-calorie diet program to help you increase weight loss and to keep the loss weight from returning. Losing weight and keeping it off can lower the risks that come with obesity, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and a shorter life. Orlistat blocks the action of the lipase which helps metabolize fats and therefore prevents dietary fat from being absorbed.
Dosage and Administration
Take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The recommended dose is 120 mg (3 times daily) with each main meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) that contains fat or up to 1 hour after the meal. Skip the dose of Xenical, if you miss a meal or your meal contains no fat. To lessen the chance of side effects, it is important that an average of 30% of the calories in your diet come from fat. Make sure that your daily intake of fat, carbohydrate, and protein should be evenly spread over 3 meals.
The dose of Xanical will be different for different people and depends on their medical history, body weight, and other medication. If you miss a dose, it should be taken up to 1 hour after a meal and still be effective. However, if the time is more than 1 hour, skip the dose and continue going with regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to cover up a missed one.

Xenical is a clinically proven, FDA approved weight reduction drug. However, this drug is not right for everyone. Since the medication is not an appetite suppressant, it requires huge self control in limiting fatty diet and increasing exercise. The fact that this medication can be bought online is very concerning. We recommend you to take Xenical only if prescribed by your health care provider.
