Waklert (Armodafinil) is a prescription medication that is used for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, shift work disorder, ADHD and narcolepsy. Waklert contains Armodafinil which belongs to the class of drugs known as wakefulness promoting agents. It also helps individuals who have severe difficulty in staying awake or who experience an unusual high amount of fatigue during the day. Dosage and Administration
Waklert has a long half-life and in most cases you will only need one dose per day to experience its benefits all day long. A standard dose is 150 mg per pill taken early in the morning. The medication can be used with or without food. It is advisable; to consult with your doctor before taking this medication as your specific condition or reason for use will determine your dosage and specific time. For example, for shift work sleep disorder consider taking Waklert about an hour before starting work. Do not increase or decrease the dose, or use for a longer time than prescribed unless your doctor will ask you to do so.
